Books I've read (Jan-mid Feb)

Feb 16, 2011 08:22

I decided that along with keeping track of what I read this year, I'd also jot down my thoughts of each book.  Then, I decided that instead of posting it as one long list at the end of the year, I'd post it once a month or so and do it as a kind of informal book report.  I've rated each book (1 star= Not for me.  2 stars= it was okay  3 stars= I ( Read more... )

You're making me jealous. My list is tiny so far this year.

I'm actually reading rather slowly this year. Books that normally take me 1-2 days to read are taking me 3-4 days. Ones that take me 3-4 are now taking me a week or more.

Nice list -- I really enjoyed Cryer's Cross too (and yeah, I love the guys in her books) :)

What I like best is the small things they do to show they care.

Demonglass (the sequel to Hex Hall) comes out next week. I can't wait to read it. I was not too pumped about Incarceron, so I've been less than motivated to read Sapphique. I do want to read your 4, 8, and 11. I really liked Body Finder. The sequel comes out this month (I think next week).

The sequel to Body Finder is next on my list to read. I'm waiting for $$ to magically appear in my account so I can get Demonglass (and a few others I really want).

Wow, so many books! (I've only read one and half so far this year...and both are re-reads. >.>)

I haven't read any of the ones on your list, but there are definitely some on there that I've been wanting to...such as HEX HALL. It looks like such a fun book--happy to see another person praise it!

Believe it or not, but this is slow for me. It's taking me at least twice as long to read books lately. Partly because I've got so much else going on and I'm trying to make time for writing and partly because I've been getting headaches that make it difficult to read. But I'm still enjoying what I'm reading.

Hex Hall was fun and I liked it more than I thought I would. I hope you like it too when you get a chance to read it.
