My Christmas

Dec 26, 2011 16:15

I hope you all had a great Christmas yesterday.  Mine was nice, especially because my husband and I got to take a much needed break from the not-so-fun part of our big secret (which will be revealed once my husband's youtube channel hits 10,000 views).  We just kept everything low key and relaxed.  The most effort I put into anything yesterday was ( Read more... )

Sounds like a lovely Christmas! And, my cats say no box will be unexplored!

It definitely has to be a cat thing. All three of mine love boxes. They're constantly fighting over who gets them and I've even seen them trying to squeeze into ones way too small for them. Pumpkin even started laying on top of the empty Lego box from T's Lego Space Shuttle he got for Christmas.

LOL I've stopped buying them cat toys because we get so many boxes in the mail throughout the year, it's like new toys to them until recyclable day.

Low-key is always the best route to go for Christmas, I think. Glad to hear you had a great Christmas!

I prefer hard-copies of books, too, but eek, I ran out of shelf space a loooong time ago. I may have to consider getting an e-reader one of these days as a result...but for the moment, I'm still too stubborn. XD

Ooh, the Kindle allows you to access Calorie King? Too awesome! As a type-1 diabetic, one of the reasons why I hate eating out is because I usually have to guess the carbs of what I'm eating, which is...well, not the best idea. I can see how that'd come in handy!

LOL at your cat--too cute! (Especially that second pic. She's certainly comfortable in there! XD)

So I just finished one book on my kindle and... while it wasn't the same experience as a hard copy, it wasn't bad. In fact, I think I read faster on the kindle. But it also could have been because it was a really good, but short (280 pages) book. I'll have to experiment more on this ( ... )

It's always great to have options like that, so hurray for the Kindle for giving you some freedom! ;)

We kept our Christmas simple, too.

Cats and boxes. Cats love boxes.

Every time there's a box in our house--no matter how small--at least one (mostly all three) of my cats will try to lay in it or on it. The best is when my cranky cat who hates the other two will get there first. She lords it over them like crazy. So funny.

My cat does that too! And they have similar colors/patterns, too!

Yeah I've seen pictures of your cat. Torties are the best, aren't they?

They are! And they never get any recognition in cat books, either.
