And that I loved every word of it. You are an amazing author.
I adored that this was from Britta's perspective. You don't usually see that in alot of Jeff and Annie related stories. I love Britta just as much as I love Annie and it was wonderful to see such exquisite characterization.
And I liked the way you treated the Jeff and Britta relationship...it was very realistic.
Never stop writing! You have a real gift for it.

britta doesn't get enough love, and when she does, it's usually at annie's expense, so I wanted to write something that would showcase how awesome britta is, without making annie into the bad guy. writing from her perspective was a challenge, but it was so worth it. like you said, it's not something we often see in fandom, and I wanted to shed a different light on a character that I love.
as for the jeff and britta relationship, as much as many don't like to admit it, there is, or was, something very potent between the two of them, despite how toxic it was to them and the rest of the group. it would be foolish of me, or anyone else, to deny that there was any 'britta of it all', and I wanted to be respectful to her character without ignoring annie.
anyway, thank you so much for the lovely review! it means a lot that you approve of the outcome of this prompt :)

if anything, I wanted to make this story as believable as possible. both jeff and britta had feelings for one anothere--there's no getting around that, and I wanted to deal the tension between them and annie as delicately as possible without compromising anyone's character. and you know, if jeff and britta are endgame (sigh), then this will probably be my personal canon too. ;)
so yes, thank you so much for the kind words! this is something I think the comm needed, and I'm glad that people have taken to it!
