They postpone their album release when Chester breaks down.
Rob pretty much looks after him, nowadays. He spends more time at Chester’s house than at his own. It’s easier, especially since Chester is constantly calling him. He gets scared, now. Does drugs, too, and no matter how hard Rob tries to stop him the singer is always finding a new way to get high.
Today he’s huffed the fumes from a can of deodorant and he’s scared, so scared. He clings to Rob and sobs, tries to speak but all that comes out is a desperate cry.
“I-I can’t k-keep going o-on like this,” he cries, “I n-need Brad.”
Brad, who is already dating someone else.
Brad who has moved on.
Rob sighs softly and says “No, you don’t,” says, “You need help.”
It’s been three months since Brad left, and Chester has just gotten worse. It breaks Rob’s heart to watch him deteriorate like this. He feels completely helpless. “Can I take you to the hospital, Chaz? Is that okay?”
Chester can barely breathe between his sobs, nods instead of trying to speak, and lets Rob lead him down to the car
