Both Derek and Angie couldn't believe it. They'd hunted for Delphi for months now, ever since they'd joined Caduceus, and they'd found them at last. It was certainly not how they'd expected to find the group - panicked, separated, one man seemingly dying... Derek rushed over as fast as he could, Angie not too far behind.
"Why are you wasting your time saving me?" the man asked them breathlessly as they anaesthetised him. "Save... Professor Blackwell... Please..."
Angie was shocked. Professor Blackwell? Her father? Was he in danger? "Hurry, Dr. Stiles. We've got to save him."
And indeed they did. After a short battle against the immature Savato bodies, Derek emerged victorious. They quickly sutured the incision and went to find the professor.
They'd chased Delphi down at last, be it for better or for worse. They could only hope Delphi wouldn't vanish into the shadows once again.
