Random Days
It was a fairly normal day in Anti-Fairly land and Anti-Cosmo was using it to get some work done. His latest plot to take over fairy world seemed to be coming along well. It might even have a chance for success which was rare in many plans Anti-Fairies came up with. At the moment he was looking over the map of their world he had spread out on the table. He was trying to figure out how much rope they would need when he realized that Anti-Wanda was sitting across the table from him.
“Aren’t we goin’ out today?”
He blinked in surprise. “Whatever do you mean my dear?”
“Are we goin’ out today?”
He wasn’t sure what she was talking about. Not that this was exactly a rare thing as she could be exceedingly random at times. However he wasn’t sure why she would have gotten the idea that they were going out somewhere today....
“Yes...I heard.”
“Cause you said we weren’t last week and-”
A light bulb suddenly went off above his head and he slapped his head with his hand. Now he remembered. She did this usually a few times a month anyway.
“For the last time my dear, it has to be the 13th of the month, not just a Friday!”
There was a pause....
“Oh. Okay!” She smiled and then floated out of the room and Anti-Cosmo tried to go back to his plotting.
Yes, there was nothing more annoying than being interrupted mid-plot. Except, he supposed, for the knowledge that he would most likely be going through the same thing in a week or so.
