Hello ladies and germs,

I follow several authors on ff.net that have LOTS of stories and downloading each story separately takes a while and can be a pain. I had searched and found a solution using a calibre recipe by that took advantage of a user's server. Unfortunately, around June 6, it stopped working. I'll get the story and chapter titles, but ( Read more... )

I've only used fanfiction downloader and downloaded them one at a time. Then I put them in a folder on my desktop for ebooks & organized with a file for each author.

If someone else has something better I would be very interested.

I didn't realize there was a recipe for fanfiction.net. Have you already posted your question to Mobile Read? The person that made it probably follows the threads there to see what's happening. I think you may have better luck finding an answer there because all the Calibre developer people hang out at that forum.

I did post on the mobileread forum. I'm not necessarily looking for a calibre solution here, but any solution that would work. I don't need to stick with calibre.

I didn't realize other programs could do what Calibre could with the rss feeds and recipes...I hope someone is able to find a solution because I'd love to make one for the Young Justice fandom at ff.net.

Have you tried Flag?

Still story by story, but very quick. And in several e-book formats.

Don't know if you've found an answer to this situation that you're happy with, but I have a suggestion.

fanfictiondownloader is available as a downloadable program, a web service and also as a plugin for Calibre (which is the one I use primarily). The developers recently added a feature to grab/scrape the urls of stories from a webpage and then copy/paste those urls into the list of stories to be downloaded/converted into ebooks.

The app can be downloaded & link to the webservice site is located here: http://code.google.com/p/fanficdownloader
and the Calibre plugin is here: http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163261

I'm working on a how-to for setting up custom columns with the Calibre plugin and hope to have it posted soon.
