Plug the Nook into the pc.
Look in "my computer" and you will see the Nook.
Click on the Nook to find the documents folder there.
Move your ebooks into that documents folder.
Disconnect the Nook.
You will see your ebooks in your Nook in the library.

Epub format is better than pdf format because you can modify the font easily.

go to flagfic.com to download fanfics , select epub format.

use calibre to convert your pdf fics to epub.

If you have an ipod touch, iphone, or ipad:
download the ibooks app
go to flagfic.com
email the fic to yourself, choosing the epub format
open the email in your device
choose to open it in ibooks
there it is!

That flagfic.com site looks interesting, I'm going to have to test a fic there soon. Thanks! :)

Hi, just dropping in to say that if the book comes from BN, it should already be in your Nook library, you just need to hit 'Search for New Content' in your Library menu when you're connected to wifi and then hit 'download'. If you purchase a book (even for $o.oo) from BN.com, or on Wifi through your Nook, it automatically goes into your Nook library at your BN.com account, where it can be downloaded to the computer or phone or what-have-you. Basically, nothing needs to be dragged anywhere. ^_^
Now, if you're getting a book from another site, adding a PDF or a Word document or similar, then Calibre is fantastic - I manage all of my many fic PDFs and epubs with it and it works very well with my Nook(s). The Adobe Digital Editions instructions are for non-Calibre-converted Adobe PDFs and/or epubs from various public libraries. A lot of libraries offer ebook checkouts, but you have to know what software they use, which often has to be sideloaded to the Nook. Usually the library website will have instructions ( ... )
