I've seen more requests on how to use Calibre plugins to download fic from archives into Calibre and how to merge series into a single file. This tutorial will first cover how to install plugins. As well as how to use the plugin Fanfiction Downloader to download fic from archives into Calibre and then the use of the plugin Epubmerge to merge series

Finally able to use this plug in! Worked like a dream after I read the list of supported archives (of course the first attempt was an unsupported one).

Hopefully I can come back and sort through your explanation of custom css code because I am really clueless and need to use with some of my other e-books.

Also the links are an added bonus.

Hi,

I needed to create a custom column to download relationships into Calibre. To create a custom column you go to Calibre --> Preferences --> Add your own Column --> select the green plus sign on the side area.

Here are the settings I used for my relationship column:

Lookup Name: relationship
Column Heading: Relationships
Column Type: comma separated text like tags, shown in tag browser.

You also need to update the FanficFare settings.

Configure FanficFare --> Custom Columns --> in the relationship field select Relationships from the drop down menu (or whatever name you used for Relationships).

I think at that point when you download fic the relationship column should be populated with the relationship information.

I'm still going to fiddle with it considerably, since my Kobo is slow and just being able to search by one single tag is tedious. But this will alread ymake my e-reading life so much easier. THANK YOU.
