Have you posted this question to the Mobile Read forum? the plugin creators are rather helpful in identifying the problem.

I noticed when I update an anthology the page count doesn't change until I actually update it using the Count Pages plugin...which is odd because for the other fic I add FFDL updates the page counts for me.

I tried using the Count Pages plugin manually, but I still got the same error message.

I'm not familiar with the Mobile Read forum. I wouldn't even begin to guess where in all the threads to pose the question.

I went ahead and posted your question to the forum in hopes that an answer will appear sometime today or tomorrow. I'll post here when I have an answer or if the person has need of further details ( ... )

I received a reply rather quickly.

He said to, "Check the Count Pages plugin config for the 'Always overwrite an existing word/page count' check box near the bottom and check it."

Let me know if it worked, so I can follow up.
