I guess...but what is it, exactly, that troubles you about it? I mean...if you don't want one and think that it's a total waste of time and space, just keep doing what you're doing and resist...otherwise, don't let it bother you. It's really no different than LJ, in terms of what it's trying to do. Granted it's slow, banner-heavy, usually craps out while loading and has frequent host-end server issues, it's just another way for people to keep in touch. I think it falls into one of those "It all depends on how you use it..."

I have one, but I don't use it. I have 1 person who updates her blog there, and I want to be able to see her entries - but I deplore the whole site, and refuse to use it any more than that.
