I love Hogwarts. It never changes. You can go away for years and when you come back, everything will be exactly the same (except for the impressive new swamp on the fifth floor corridor of the east wing, well done Fred and George). Although, it was a bit surprising to be greeted upon my arrival with handshakes and a journal. I suppose because I'm ( Read more... )

You too! What have you been up to?

Paperwork. Lots and lots of paperwork. Exciting, yeah?

When's your next Quidditch match? I don't think I've ever gotten to see you fly.

It's great seeing you again, Bill. Why, if you don't mind my asking, are you staying at Hogwarts for an extended period of time?

You too, Hermione! The Headmaster asked me to come and do a bit to try and make Hogwarts safer. You know it never hurts to improve if you can.

I might ask for your help doing a bit of research later, Hermione, if you don't mind. You're a clever witch, after all, and Hogwarts: A HIstory doesn't go into the kind of detail I'm looking for.

They couldn't have picked anyone better for the job. You'll definitely be able to put your talents with cursebreaking to better use here at Hogwarts than at Gringotts.

I don't mind. The library has a lot of research materials and I'll be able to direct you to what you need to look it up for you. Just tell me what it is that you need and I'll get started on it as soon as possible.

Don't I know it. I've been dying to get out of the bank. Preferably back to Egypt, but this opportunity here at Hogwarts might be even better.

No rush, so if you have homework to do don't pressure yourself. But if you have time at some point, I need to find anything that can help me get a better idea of the tricks and secrets of the castle, at least as many as are known.

Bill! You're here, finally!

... Whatever you have from Fred and George that's for me, keep it.

I'd do anything to get out so, Hogsmeade it is!

Finally? I only took a day! You're so impatient, Ron.

Aw. You really think I'd bring you anything from the twins if I thought it was dangerous? I only would if I also knew it would be very funny.

Great. As soon as I talk to Ginny we'll see when the best day is for both of you.

Can you blame me? It's been a while!

I don't know, but I still don't want it. They're capable of tricking anyone and everyone.. even you. What is it again?

Any day is good for me!

They're experimenting with new Quidditch training supplies, and thought you might like this one - it's a Quaffle that they sort of infused with the magic in a Bludger. It won't attack you, but it will try to get past you into the goals. Should be great for Keeper practice.

No, it is properly red, but you could not possibly bear any relation to them.

Oh, good, you're here.

Hogsmeade sounds like a great plan. I'll ask Harry and Hermione if they want to come along.

The journals are interesting fun, really. I'm sure you'll enjoy leafing through yours and seeing what everyone's up to.

Good, good. Anyone else is welcome along, too. The more the merrier, and all that.

I suppose so - it'll make it easier to keep an eye on you and Ron, anyway. Go ahead and picture me laughing maniacally.

Okay.

I don't need to imagine it. I'm sure I have one of you doing that somewhere. Taken during Christmas that time Errol got stuck in the chimney with his legs sticking straight out and then he almost got blown up when the package exploded. Do you remember?

fangearring April 3 2006, 22:24:08 UTC
Hahahaha!! Ow, my sides....poor Errol, how does he live. Yes, yes I do remember that. Wasn't that the same Christmas that you and the twins "accidentally" put Sticking Charms on all of Percy's presents?
