Can I just really really really HATE Vday with all my heart now?????
Why must there be a specific day during the year that reminds me just how miserable I feel and makes me feel lonelier than ever? Why? I don't want to have a boyfriend, I don't want to fall in love, I don't want to be ickley sweet like all the other couples, I don't want that. Then

Can you believe I didn't see Euros?? It's just that they didn't say when it was and they didn't say anything about it on the news and they gave it at five in the morning and I lost it *sniff*

Hmm, strange that in other countries Valentine's Day seems to be a much bigger event, that it's all about couples and such. Here in Finland it's Ystävänpäivä, literally Friend's Day, when we think of our friends and (show) how much we care about them and appreciate them. (In the other Finnish language, the day's called Alla hjärtans dag, all hearts' day.) I've never really connected it with boyfriends or girlfriends, just friends. Perhaps that's why I never get all stressed out or depressed or anything when it's V-Day
