Edge of Insanity!

Actually, it tied with Mock Me Baby, I Know You Want To, but since we can’t add two special categories, we will go w/Edge of Insanity this round and the other next round. I will open nominations w/a post of the nomination form on Monday, June 29th w/instructions. Thanks so much for the tons of votes on the poll!

Seems very weird with so few categories. I've gotten used to 48 at least for every round. Just looking at this list makes me go, wooh that's short. 21 nominated categories, plus best author and mod/judge's choice is...weird. lol

*hugs*

There should be some fun to read fics in that category. Thanks for running the awards. We all appreciate the work you put in :D

Thank you, I hope everyone enjoys finding fic to nominate in the special category. I can't wait until noms start. It's always so fun reading them.

In the Vampiric Non Spuffy section can slash pairings be nommed in all categories or only in the Best Male/Fem slash pairing one?

Slash pairings can be nommed in any category they fit in for the Vampiric Non-Spuffy section as well as het pairings. The reason we have both best het and best slash categories is simply to have two categories in the section that encompass all type of fic (not just one type that would be specific to a certain category like best angst/dark). That way if a fic, regardless of pairing, will only fit into the best fluff category it can still also be nommed in either best het or best slash to give it more of a chance at receiving an award somewhere. It also makes it easier to assign the couple of judges that would rather read only het or only slash.
