Claire said to say hi and said her dad is back to all normal activities but still doing exercises to strengthen/rehab his ankle.

I'm not holding my breath for her getting back online any time soon.

I did have an idea that I stole from why_me_why_not that you may be interested in. You and Claire should leave each other voice mails. "I'll only call if you promise not to answer the phone" type deal. Saves on the phone bill and Claire's neck won't get buggered up from sitting on the phone for any length of time.

Maybe start with something like that and we could work her up to short phone conversations occasionally?
