wow loved, so use to lots of annie fics being so upbeat, or total annie/jeff angst, liked how it was all her. This was kinda dark and real though and i loved it. great job!

Thank you :) I was a bit nervous posting something so dark. Annie is such an upbeat, glass-half-full person so I wasn't sure how people would respond to this. But, I reasoned, everyone has their dark days.

Thanks for reading and commenting! Yeah, I'm hoping the show explores her financial situation more, maybe S3? We saw her rummaging through garbage, collecting pop cans for spare cash, and she won't accept money from anyone, so I'm really curious how she's getting by. Her savings will only last so long...

I think I like angsty fic better. We don't get much of this in the actual series so I like it when those themes are explored in fics.
