How to get from this->

in 10 easy steps

-made in photoshop CS2
-selective colouring
-non-transferable

requested by a few people :)



1. Get your picture and crop it to 100 x 100


2. Duplicate the base and set it to screen @ 100%


3. Duplicate the base again, bring it to the top and set it to soft light @ 100%


4. Next go to layer->new adjustment layer->hue/satuation and set the satuation to +21


5. Next made a new selective colour layer (layer->new adjustment layer->selective colouring) and set it to:

red: cyan: -100% / yellow: -100%
Yellow: cyan: -100%/ yellow: -100%
neutrals: cyan: +100%/ yellow: -50%


6. Make a new selective colour layer and set it to:

Yellow: yellow: -50%
neutrals: yellow: -30%


7. Make a colour balance layer ((layer->new adjustment layer->colour balance) and set it to:

midtones: -25, -7, +30


8. Now add a soild colour layer. Fill it with black and set it to soft light @ 100%


Now thats the colouring done. You can either stop there OR you can finish these two steps for the 2nd outcome.

9. Merge all the layers together and duplicate. Go to filters and then blur->radial blur and set the amout to 100%


10. Get the rubber and with a hard brush (set at anywhere between 85-95) and run out the middle of the layer.


AND YOUR DONE! Now this wont work on every icon! You will have to change things make it your own hope that helped
