Oh dear, I believe I'm blushing now. Thank you so very much dear.
2. I'm terrible at finishing something I've started unless there's a concrete deadline. (Deadlines I make for myself do not count.) I'll get an idea in my head and start right in, but as soon as the creativity has left I find it hard to complete the project. Need proof? Just ask me.
Is it odd that my little fanfic writing foibles corespond so well with yours. I find that I suffer with this same problem. I have a lot of difficulty finishing things I start (If you need proof, just look at the starting date for "Night Vigil").
Ah, but where you have managed to pull through and still get this far I have not yet managed. Did you see the fic I linked to in the first post? Started with a friend over a year ago (two years?) and we've only got the one chapter. Maybe someday...
Oh, and your creative process sounds, unfortunately, very similar to mine. I'm so terrible about finishing things, and I always end up with more "brilliant" ideas than I know what to do with or have the concentration required to finish them. So, you are not alone. :)
