I'm here from Blasian Narrative :) I completely agree with you at how fulfilling it is to write a Black woman who is well, not a stereotype. Just a plain woman without tags of being "strong" or "a sista" or "neck-rolling" etc.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. After all they've been through, I thought they deserved some quiet time together. Mika's heart is so open, and Raizo strikes me as the type who loves (and trusts) completely when he does decide to give his heart away. I really loved writing them.
