Book
“Shige, cook me some food.” A whining Nishikido Ryo told his lover who is currently reading a book.
Shige ignored his lover and continued reading. Ryo is now getting impatient because Shige is seriously ignoring him for a book. Who does that? He’s the Sexy Osakan Man, he should never be ignored.
“Shigeeeeeeee~” He tried again, stomping his feet for effect.
Shige finally looked up from the damned book, took a long look at Ryo, then went back to reading.
“What’s so great about that book?” A now annoyed Nishikido Ryo asked his lover.
Shige ignored him again. In a fit of jealous rage, he yanked the book off the younger’s hands and straddled his lover.
“This will show you not to ignore me.” The jealous man said and leant down to claim his lover’s lips.
Spirit
I wake up in cold sweat and immediately look around me. It’s my room, but I feel so light, like I left my body or something. I glance to my left and I saw my lover, my life, arms around my body. Wait, I’m awake, sitting up, why is Ryo’s arm around my waist? I look behind me and see myself, barely breathing. I stand up and realize that I am light, I am floating and I am barely alive. How can this happen, I walk to Ryo’s side of the bed and try to shake him awake. To my disappointment, may hands only passed through.
End
Every relationship comes to an end and this is what Kato Shigeaki believes in. So when he wakes up and realizes that it’s the day that he will break up with his girlfriend, he though nothing but ‘I will miss her company’. Relationships are meant to come to an end anyway. He admits that it’s a harsh phrase but from experience, it’s the truth. Friends come and go, family dies, love fades.
He meets her at a cafe near his apartment. It’s a quiet and peaceful cafe, just like he wants it. He sat at one of the tables outside and waits. His currents girlfriend arrives 5 minutes later, panting and apologizing. She sits down and looks at him, eyes downcast and mouth set on a thin line, and realizes what this is all about. He didn’t need to say anything more.
“Why?” She asks him.
“Relationships always come to an end.” He answers.
“You’re a jerk. Who have you fallen in love with?” She asks him.
His phrase breaks apart. His facade has been broken. That phrase he always tells himself and his past lovers is only a cover-up. He’s been in love with this person for a long time now.
“I’ve been in love with this person for a long time now.” Shige answered.
“Then why did you get into a relationship with me?” She asked him, voice bordering anger.
“I sincerely and honestly liked you, I still like you. But it can never be as much as I love this person.” He answered her, now looking at her eyes.
“So it’s not a girl? How can you do this to me? If you didn’t like me as much as you love him, then you shouldn’t have started a relationship with me.” She told him, almost yelling now.
Shige looks straight, completely avoiding he eyes. He feels her leave, dropping the ring he gave her on the table.
