gah! you and your cliffies, i swear lol. well, sorta cliffies anyway. and yeah, i can totally see angel all torn up about giving xander the choice given how angel feels about his condition to start with. can't wait to see what happens next, how xander handles the change, how his relationship with angel is going to develop. *bounces happily*

and can i just say, you have had the best imagery going through this, especially with the whole blood-water thing, it's all so incredibly tangible and -real-. it's always so hard trying to convey the pic i see in my head to words, but you seem to have a great knack for it :D
