Kristin's sister paid for us to see United 93, Kristin said for the most part Flight 93 on A&E was better(I haven't seen that one yet), but it was good, the ending was emotional, the way they did it.
it's not really spoilerific, since we all know what happened, but it was in the way they shot it that got to me:
In the end, after the passengers broke into the cockpit, while they were fighting for the controls and the plane was going down, they shot it as if you were in the pilot's seat, watching out the window as the ground comes closer to you, watching the fields come closer and closer till they hit the ground.
The only part that got me kinda teary eyed was watching the towers get hit on the big screen. The 2nd tower anyway. They used the real footage and seeing it that big was kinda...wow. Seeing it like that, I think, made me more emotional than when I saw it the day it happened. Though I was in shock, as we all were.
Of course, just like after seeing Farenheight 911, we all had to talk about our experiances that day, Kristin and Shannon were both in school. I'm so glad I already graduated.
I heard some people said they realeased the movie too soon. I don't think so, it's still fresh in our minds, but not too fresh. I don't want to wait 50 years till they make a film about it. I'm glad it came out now, and I'm glad they didn't use any big names and basically commercialize it.
Gotta give props to the actors though, that had to be one hell of an emotional ride, playing those people. Especially the hijackers, I couldn't pretend to be one of the people that attacked our country. No way in hell.
