i haven't see the trailer yet, must do that. I'll have to rewatch season one before embarking on season 2, since I can't remember much about it (apart from being very confused about the jumping around in time bit).
The time frames didn't confuse me as much, because the time progresses for each character in a linear fashion. So Yennefer's time line takes the longest, because she is a child when we first meet her, and a lot of time passes like when she is a court mage that we don't see. But for Ciri, the whole season occurs in just one or two weeks. For Geralt the earliest moment is Blaviken, and then the final moment is when he finally meets Ciri. It was an interesting way to weave together the stories of three characters. For Jaskier, who is my favorite, it is the 22 years from when he first met Geralt in Posada, to the dragon hunt. So that helped me make sense of it. :P
That's useful to know - I think it would have helped if I'd realised before I started watching that it wasn't all necessarily taking place at the same time. 😂
