My Life Sucks

Just thought I'd put that out there and let everyone know it. I hate my boring, mind-numbing job. I hate the apartment I live in because of my upstairs neighbors. They make my life a living hell, and even though my lease expires at the first of June, mom and I can't move, because we haven't managed to save enough money for the moving expenses. I'm sorry. *hugs* I'd give you my sister's address and phone number but you might end up punching her. ;)

I do know how you feel. *hugs*

Sorry to hear you are unhappy *hugs*

Are there any social activities you like and you can do that might cheer you up and get you out of the house?
Maybe volunteering at some local place to help children, animals, older people, ... Something that costs no money but helps others and makes you feel good?

I'm sure there are lots of things I could do. I just need to stop feeling sorry for myself long enough to figure it out! It's stupid really...like my problems are worse than anyone elses? I need to start "accentuating the positive" rather than dwelling on what's wrong.

Oh I wouldn't say your problems are not important or what you are feeling is not true. It's not stupid, these are your problems and they are a part of you. Don't compare them to other people's problems either, that isn't a good thing to do, because then we 'must' be happy 24/7

I think you should just try and do one thing that makes you happy each day and do more as you go along. Start small. And maybe write them down each evening before you go to bed, these can be small things, like watching a good movie, enjoying the sunshine. Sounds stupid, but it really works, believe me.
