Daphne

On Saturday morning, I had to decide to let my sweet little kitty, Daphne, go. She was my baby of 16 years, and I adored her. But she had kidney disease and hyper-thyroidism. She did her best each day to make me feel good, and made a real effort to hang in there for my sake, but I just couldn't continue to watch her waste away. I miss her

I'm very sorry to hear about Daphne. You ended her suffering, and although it hurts a lot, you did the right thing.
16 years is a long time, wow, she sounds like an awesome cat!

She really was an awesome cat! She was the runt of her litter, so she always looked like a kitten, and she had the loudest purr I've ever heard.
