when the spies in the room notice something...
"O.K, now explain to me again. And slow this time."
Casey was doing his best to kip his cool in front of the unsuspecting customers.
"Why am I, who am not your boyfriend, being invited & expected to appear at a family night of watching old videos. You have Walker for that particular brand of torture."
Chuck was hurt. And a little bit angry. He was about to say something
when he noticed a couple of old ladies lurking around, listening. He grabbed Casey & muttered
"Old bats"
While He pulled him from the aisle they're in into the secluded little AV room.
"The reasons are different to different people. For Ellie you're a lonely man who could use the company, maybe then you will stop looking so creepily out your window like that."
At Casey's look of surprise he added
"Yes. We noticed it's not subtle. Anyway that's Ellie, Sarah just want some company for her misery"
"Figures" Was the mumbled reply.
"And last but not least me. I'm not easy and if you are gonna blow me in your truck you're gonna meet my family."
"THAT WAS ONCE, AM I NEVER GOING TO LIVE IT DOWN."
It was heard all over the store.
"A lovers spat?"
The little old lady asked Morgan.
"Nah. well maybe later, they're just friends now."
While in the AV room Chuck answered.
"No, & if you want it to happen again you will show up with a smile on your face."

That night at the Bartowski's, everyone sat at the living room watching Chuck's third Birthday party.
"Oh, honey you were such a darling"
Sarah said while patting his knee, then just as little Chuck blew his candles.
"What the hell" it came from both Casey & Sarah.
"Are you two glowing?"
"Yup, we got it from mom; everyone in her family did that when they were little. The trigger is strong emotions. I grew out of it when I was twelve, Ellie when she was ten."
"How" came from Casey. Chuck was the one to reply.
"In our universe, stars are suns and shooting stars are meteors. But our family came from Fairyland where there are no meteors and stars are also people."
He then proceeded to tell a story similar to Stardust. Sarah noticed;
"I think I saw that movie too"
"We think the guy who wrote the book met our mom"
Then Casey added his two cents
"I get that one of the kids went to Wall and beyond it. But how did they survive, shouldn't they have turned into a space roc."
"Stormhold Magic"
The answer came from both brothers.
"Can you do anything?"
Sarah asked.
"Until I was ten I could fly"
"Until I was twelve I could Super-speed"
"Cool" Morgan said as he finished Casey's knishes.

"So, any kids we have Are gonna glow until puberty"
"I don't know Sarah, Are we going to be that under cover?"
The three of them were at the whienrllishios eating corndogs & having a private conversation.
Casey then becomes involved in this particular mess by saying
"Shouldn't you have asked that back at the night of wanders at the Bartowskis."
"I was in shock at first and then I didn't want to look like I'm clamoring for kids."
"Don't worry about it, from the look on his face Awesome obviously didn't know either & those two have been living together for well over two years now."
"Thank you Chuck, but I've noticed you haven't answered me yet."
At this both Casey & Sarah cast twin penetrating stares at the living, if dimmed star.
"No clue, if it were Ellie the answer would be yes but down the paternal line it can skip a generation."
"Oh, I was hoping for..."
"For a little super-agent so you can get yourself a promotion." Casey completed her sentence for her.
"Casey come on, just because you can occasionally display the heart of a rock does not mean that Sarah-"
then he sees her blush.
"OH COME ON. I know that you can't have a child for the child's sake because they don't exist yet but a super-soldier program does not inspire a healthy childhood"
"Sorry, but I thought that maybe they cay find a way for them to keep their powers into adulthood"
A blushing and mortified Sarah answered.
"Other than cannibalism that is, right?"
At this Casey looked at Chuck.
"The witch, remember she wanted to eat that star's heart for her power."
"Your weird, and while I appreciate the heart of stone crack I would never consider such a thing."
"Alright, I'm a murderess bitch. We got that, god." The man about to get inside thought better of it & ran out of there.

Ellie & Devon sat around the table eating breakfast and reading the newspaper.
Chuck was spending the night with his girlfriend Sarah.
It was a peaceful silence.
"Oh My god. A young girl got dismembered in NY."
"How come you never told me any child we have could be 'gifted'"
