I'm so, so sorry about Joshua. Your story made me tear up. I had to have one of my beloved cats put to sleep a couple years back, and it was very, very difficult. I still miss her so much. I even think I see her and hear her sometimes (she was a "talker" and her purr was very loud and destinct.) My hope is that we'll meet again some day at the ~Rainbow Bridge~. I don't remember if Sylvia refers to this meeting place as the "Rainbow Bridge", but she has said that pets and their caretakers do joyously reunite on the other side. The idea of that meeting gave me great comfort when I was grieving.
