Since bringing Savannah back from the clinic, Johnny had kept close but not too close as to be overwhelming. He didn't like what was going on but with nothing else to do at the moment, her comfort and care was extremely important.

He roused slowly and reached an arm over, across her, letting her know he hadn't gone anywhere during the night.

The confusion hadn't suddenly cleared up during the night, but she was glad to have Johnny with her. The others had said he was her boyfriend, and she certainly felt something when she was with him. When she felt his arm go over her, she let out a breath, and then moved a tentative hand up to hold onto him.

He was careful, not to push too much.

"How are you feeling this morning?" he asked, his voice low.

"Confused," she admitted softly. "And... guilty."

"Hey, no guilt here," he said. "This is going to get worked out, alright? Trust me."
