Kitchen is almost completed. I took the new photos with my digital camera instead of my cell phone. In these photos you can see the new floor as well as the finished crown molding. We still are up in the air about paint color. You tell me what you think we should go with?

I love the floor!!! I like yellow kitchens because it makes it seem so bright and homey and you just want to sit and have some coffee with a friend.

It's looking good!! Hardly seems like the old kitchen. Can't wait to see it when it is complete!

Well I guess you aren't going to be having coffee at our place, since that yellow color on the walls is the OLD KITCHEN color. That is toast as of this coming weekend. I am sure of it.

We would love for you to come for a visit when all is said and done. Of course we need to get our butts back up to Massachusetts as well. Miss you.

LOVE the moulding.

I don't know... but for me the rosy/peachiness on some of the floor tiles jump out at me for a color. If you want to go subtle.
I'm not sure what I'd do for a punch of color, thought, I'd have to think on it.

Uh.... not so much the rosy/peachiness you see. Guess the pictures didn't come out as good as I thought. I would never ever ever...ever pick anything out that had ROSE or Peach in it. I would totally loose all my Lavendar Points with the Gay Community. I mean, I love the Golden Girls as much as the next fag but "just so no" to Rose and Peach. The color is more of a Burnt Red.

Lots of slate or stone has tones of real rose or peach... not the kitschy Golden Girls Florida pastel versions of the colors. Those make me want to puke. Sheesh. You need to get your lavendar badge checked out. ;)
If it's more rusty, or whatever, I was just suggesting that you could think about pulling up some of those other colors from the floor to your walls.
