So much going on .... w/photos

Lets see, I know I never post anymore, but what can you do.

Work:
Been real busy planning a Regional Meeting. Hopefully things will slow down once that is over with come the begining of August.

Family:
My Grandmother just had her 85th Birthday last Sunday and Anthony and I drove down last Saturday after his work picnic on Randall's Island in NYC. *see below

I found out my brother is moving to Portland, Maine in a few weeks. I tried to help him find a house last weekend when I was in town, but apparently he doesn't like good taste. I picked out a Lovely Victorian house built in 1921 w/ 5 bdrms, 3.5 bths on a half acre of land... all for the low low price of $290,000.00. If Maine wasn't so... ya know... MAINE, then I myself would move up there.

Anthony:
Been doing well... took a few classes a couple of weeks ago. In a few weeks he heads up to CT to help his father out with the three new business' he purchased. Should be pretty busy but exciting all the same. Last weekend we had his work picnic and boy oh boy do they know how to throw a party. I love going. Last year was my first time ever and I think I ate everything under the sun. This year it was about double in size... or at least it was spread out more. Good times!

House:
Planted Loads and loads of flowers in the yard this year. My brother is expanding his driveway and he has all these lovely flowers he is just going to pave over... or however they do it. Anyway, each and every time I go home I save a few of them and plant them in my yard. They are so pretty...you be the judge.

Also, for about two weeks now our Kitchen has been completed. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but thank goodness its finally done. I just love the new kitchen. LOVE! I've already started eating better, the first meal I made was a wrap and I have already made two Fresh Fruit Salads... Mmmm Mmmm Good. There are a few more things we are waiting for... i.e. we asked them to install under cabinet molding to hide the lighting and that should be in within the next week. They also didn't order the right amount of Cabinet Door handles so one of those is on back order. July 4th we went to West Co. furniture and purchased a 42" tall pub table to go on the right side wall... (Black on Black) we are so done with eating in the family room. Enjoy the pictures... and totally let me know what you think.

If you look at the other pictures, we've come a very long way.

Lastly...

Saffron:
She is the best dog ever. She is so well behaved now and I only have to beat her with a large stick about once a week. Usually I wait for the wounds to heal. *wink* She is truly a lovely (just the right size) dog. We were actually thinking about getting another one just like her, but then we sobered up.

Such a pretty dog!

This coming weekend we are going into the city to see "Ave. Q". It was supposed to be a mother and son weekend for TERRI (My mother) but that didn't work out so Anthony was more than happy to take her ticket. We decided to make an evening of it and head to Ruby Foo's for dinner. We also invited a couple of friends to join us. Good times.

Friends:
Sunday our friends move out of NJ. That is sad. However, they are getting a great new start on life.. so good for them. I am working on a friend in California to move back to the East Coast and even better to move to NJ. I kinda think I want all my friends to NJ, but nobody seems to listen to me. Ah well.

Thats all I have for now...

Later Kids!
