Friday: Wasn't feeling all that well (tummy troubles) so I decided to stay home from work. Even though I wasn't feeling all that hot I decided to do all the laundry in the house... and for the special people in the crowd, after I did the laundry I did the laundry. *grin
...then some more laundry.
Anyway, Anthony was working late so I made the Corn Bread and chili *See other post*. I don't remember what time he got in... but I think I was ready for bed.
Saturday: Woke up pretty early and hung around the house. Around 9AM our neighbor came by and said she was going to the Italian Market down the street. WHA? An italian market down the street, who knew? Well I put on my walking shoes (funny how they look just like my running, skipping, hiking and shoveling snow shoes)... The Italian Market was literally just down the street and make a right... I really had no idea. I guess I only go "up the hill" to shop.
They had all sorts of yummy things... well you know, Italian Market kinda things. I only bought a loaf of fresh bread and some sort of clam pastry... It had cheese in it and tasted good, which is all I really care about anyway.
After the walk I came home and watched a movie then helped Anthony in the yard raking up all the leaves... I love fall, I hate yard work. Afterwards we headed to the Grocery store to pick up a bunch of things. We had it in our minds to make some stew. It turned out GREAT! *see additional corn bread post*
Sunday: Anthony went into work (what's new) and I stayed home to be a good little house bitch and clean. We have a friend from Boston who also happeneds to work for Anthony. She came into town to do her Radio Show and blah blah blah. Anyway, she was coming over.
Around 2 PM they arrived. Of course I had a Pumpkin Crunch baking in the oven so anything they planned on doing would have to wait. After the the PC was out of the oven we headed to the mall. I think she must have dropped $700.00 on clothes at Lord and Taylor... something called BCBG? The clothes were cute and I think that its a rule that if you go to the mall with a gay man you end up spending way more money than you would have if you went by yourself. Gay man's motto: They will spend their money and your money!
The upside is that we wouldn't let her buy this GAWD aweful skirt that looked as though something from the sea thew it up. I swear it looked like the little mermaid halloween outfit on crack. HATED IT!
After the mall we came home and I made some more corn bread and we had some left-over Stew (one of the few things that I will eat left-over). I went to bed early cause I was a tired bitch.. this also gave Anthony and friend time to catch up.. usually its all beezwax with them.
Well, that was my weekend. Friend from Boston is staying over tonight as well. Should be fun. She had best know that we DON'T talk during my show's (How I met your Mama & Heroes)... or she will be out on her ass!
That is all.
