Fixes, anyone?

The biggest thing that is driving me crazy about LJ is that I can't access it mobile-ly. I can use the hideous (cr)app, but I get so frustrated about it being my only option that I rarely ever touch it.

Have you tried using the browser on your phone and navigating to the mobile version of the lj site? It's slightly more attractive than the ljapp (not saying much) and might obey your commands more readily...

I've tried switching between mobile and regular modes, and while the errors change slightly, both still result in the perpetual loop. That is a suggestion I haven't tried yet, tho: new browser. I know there are a few compatible with the iPhone; hopefully they're free so I can try!

I have a 4S, and the app (which I'm using right now) works fine for me. What's the issue with the app itself? Granted I can't watch videos through the app, but I rarely watch vids on my phone as it is.

I haven't checked out the browser version of LJ on my phone in some time, brb to do that.

P.S. I did get the game (thank times infinity) but my Live account expired so I have to wait a few days before I can get it back up and running. School and job hunting aren't helping either. I want to play and make you facepalm at my suckage.

The mobile version through Safari seems to be working for me atm, though I can't change my icon. Hrm.... It also sucks I can't edit my comments.

I can't even get pics to load on the app. Can't choose icons. Can't see or use tags. And it perpetually sets itself on the dimmest brightness setting. That's not even an option on the app! I have no idea how it changes it!

The mobile site doesn't work for me at all; it just keeps bringing me back to the login screen, all info cleared out. But when I'm on wifi, all the data is still saved, and I'm already logged in. I just don't get it.

Great on the game! Hope it was a good surprise! I figured it had to be something like XBL; you would have told me if they switched it with a lit magnifying glass from the scooter store again. (You don't even want to know!) - By the way, if you didn't know, you have to install the second disc first before playing. Just stick it in and play it; it takes about 10 min. :)
