I hate not being able to get on Livejournal at work. I haven't been on in like a month, and now the idea of checking my friends page just seems like it would take years and years and years. I'm going to read it for a little while and then shower and go to bed. I just wanted to say hi to everyone

Yeah, I'm a teacher, and they ban it I guess mostly for students, but there isn't much difference between what's banned in different settings.

and work has taken over my life too.
it seems i work and work and work, then come home and cook and clean. what am i, an adult or something?

it wasn't always this way-- but C & i had a big fight (2-3 days long) about how much i "contribute" to the house. pain in the ass argument, but we both had good points. i think the bottom line is that he wants me to enjoy my job and feel like i'm on some sort of fulfilling career path, but never work more than 40 hours a week, so i can always be home to cook and have the house looking nice at all times. hahaha. yes, the same man who used to tell me work shouldn't be fun because it's "work", is now telling me that i work too much. argh. we'll find a balance. it's always this way when things change.

hope your married life and work life aren't causing you too much stress.
i found your letter under a pile of stuff (read:other letters) and it reminded me that i should write. i know you are patient, i will write eventually.

you're right - things can get funky when they change - i'm so glad that chris does so much around the house. i would go insane if he didn't. my aunt said to me before i was married: "even if you work full time, you'll still find yourself responsible for all of the stuff around the house." i'm glad she was wrong about that.
