I hope everything works out in the end. I wish I had something smart and helpful to say, but ;_; I don't... just don't doubt your ability to get your licenese.
And ooohh... shinies. *yoinks* And I see you're getting to the point where the show starts to get a little more serious. Hmm... head hotdogs.
:((( Man, that's harsh. Sorry to hear that. *hugs* Best of luck with your job hunt!
Luceti's made me juuust a little curious about Trigun, but I think I've heard that it's got a very dark ending...? (I might be wrong: I easily get series mixed up.)
...Wow, that's pretty different from the vague impression I've gotten. For some reason I thought it was pretty heavy and dark most of the time. Hm. Thanks for the explanation!
*proceeds to pester you with further commentary* Dark and serious is fine with me as long as it doesn't end too badly... I don't think I need super-happy endings, but I can get really down by some bleak endings that others are perfectly fine with. (To give some quite possibly completely irrelevant instances if you haven't seen them, I found Serial Experiments Lain and Now And Then, Here and There to be way too bleak and disturbing at the end. OTOH, I was quite fine with the ending of the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime.)
I gottcha. Where I'm pretty cool with dark endings. Like I enjoyed how realistic Now and Then's ending was. How not everything gets wrapped up in a pretty bow all the time, but kinda close to that.
But Trigun has a happy ending no question about that. And if you watch the 'secert' credit run at the end it gets even more happy. Everything gets wrapped up pretty well and happy. It does leave you with a question of: Uh, Vash... WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING? How is that suppose to work? But it leaves you feeling that whatever he is thinking WILL work in the end.

And I can relate on the parents thing. Here's hoping you can get your own place sometime soon.
On a lighter note, your Trigun icons are lovely.
