I present to you the marvelous meme that seems to be taking Plurk by storm.
Name a character (or characters, w/e) I play, and I in turn will tell you what I love about them. And possibly what I don't like about them.
There is a magical muselist
here. DO NOT JUDGE ME AND MY AWESOME CONTRIBUTIONS TO LJ idek.

Where do I even start?
I love how unique he is. I love that you look at the guy and know you haven't seen another shonen character like him before, pre-and-post timeskip. I love that he's so loyal to his friends, and I love his cowardly lion streak that gets tossed aside for that loyalty, and I love that he uses a slingshot instead of a gun. I love his ridiculous nose and the fact that he looks good in any and every hat he puts on. I love all those glorious lies, and how much he admires giants, and watching him interact with any crew member at any time. I love his versatility- that he can be funny and stupid and logical and serious as hell, and that he can switch between them so easily ( ... )

I just. Every time I read that part, he manages to floor me all over again.
*re-reads same three pages* Aw, yeah! Seconded! It's been a while... I'd actually managed to forgot how great that was, even though I chatted about it at the time. The line in the final panel is pretty interesting, I think: it's not "he needs me, too!" as it might be for a more straightforward character, but "he needs my almighty power!" But he's looking very serious and very non-smug as he's shouting it. Maybe what he means is "he needs for me to be great, too, and to believe that I can be"...

Cable goes first, for alphabetical order purposes and because he's newest. I mean, I've only actually played him in a very brief, shaky meme thread, fffhahaha. But the love is still there, even if I don't think I've come into a stride of "I FINALLY UNDERSTAND" yet.
Putting aside that I love playing him because nobody plays him, here. What makes me love Cable is not the fact that he could be so ridiculously overpowered when played. It's not his history of futures and pasts of HARSH, GRUELING WAR, GRRR, or that he is almost always the angry roided-up looking guy who has to be gruff and shout and shoot things and get shit done and be emo in a corner in 90% of the series he's appeared in. In complete honesty, just about everything Cable does outside of Cable & Deadpool, I don't really care for ( ... )

Alfred is kind of an odd one to place for me, as far as muses go. I mostly made his account on a whim because I decided there weren't nearly enough Alfreds on LJ, and then it all just kind of snowballed into honest-to-god love for a character. In all honesty, I think it's really only recently that I've figured out exactly how awesome he is.
First and foremost, and this we could probably predict, I love his attitude. God help me, I have so much fun playing him when he's being snarky and sarcastic and dry as the Sahara at somebody. I also love how he's more important than people might initially think, looking at the canon. Because yes, he's the butler, but he's not just the butler- he keeps a hell of a lot of things going behind the scenes, thinks up alibis for the boys while they're out, keeps the mansion and the Batcave clean, irons the tights, cooks breakfast, tunes up the cars, gives Batman chicken soup to fight his colds, listens to everyone and gives what is possibly the greatest advice anybody has ever given ( ... )
