People who do not live with me probably also want to know: I got the copy editing job! I have been working for two weeks now. (Sorry about the update slowness!)
You know, if you wanted to, Denis, I bet you could get a copy editing spot somewhere too. I recently got an email from another publishing place wanting to know whether I was still interested, so I guess I didn't get as bad a response as I expected to my resumes and such--it just took quite a while.
Congrats (again!) on the job and I'm glad everybody were you works seems cool. That was one of my favorite things about my last job at Sandia--everyone there was nice and cool.
Oh, and I'm totally glad I do CS instead of copy editing. Programming no walk in the park, but writing/editing a sentence to be error-free (just think of how many I've made in this short comment alone!) is damn near impossible for me. So....wanna help me with editing a research paper some time? ;-)
My co-workers & I have also caught walking fever. One of the ladies is training for a half marathon so she's pretty much lapping the rest of us. It really does help break up the day. Staring at computer screens all day is quite draining!
You know what goes great with baby fever? A devoted man who loves you more than words can say and would make a wonderful father someday. It is kind of like PB & J.

I spend my days making coffee and my boss confuses the words "wands" and "wants". :(
