i think that happens with a lot of people, they cant get close to other people until their older. i think it has something to do with the fact that you cant love other people until you learn to love yourself. a think a lot of young people are really insecure and if you feel like you arent important than you are going to think that your feelings are unimportant too and you wont tell anyone about them. its really hard. but your feelings are important and people do care and i think that you are starting to realize that and thats why you can be more open with people.
