Odd year, for sure. But:

* "Peace-loving Greenies are teaming up with isolationist libertarians" ? They're still running separately. I haven't see teaming up.

* "Good Catholics are looking at a twice-divorced atheist with no record of service and turning Democrat" Is 'Good' a deliberate qualifier there? Catholics in general have generally leaned Democratic, I think, though weakly so -- mostly, there are so many nominal Catholics that they largely reflect the country as a whole.

Other points:

* map, yeah: Utah's polling as a dead three-way heat between Hillary, Trump, and undecided. Georgia is in play. OTOH, we've had maps before that went almost entirely blue or red; that indicates a terrible candidate more than a big shift.

* Then again, I just looked and the US electoral college map really was mostly red from 1968 until 1992, with 1976 as the one exception.

* RNC was the first convention to make people say they're less likely to vote for the nominee.
