well,a whole lot has happened since i last updated (good and bad) but i'm going to update in that survey everyone's been doing instead.

1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? went to mardi gras, the olympic diving trials, and the ut vs. ou game; i sang karaoke in public; got all A's (first time in college)
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i dont make resolutions
4. Did anyone close to you die? my grandpa tommy (Dec. 3)
5. What countries did you visit? none
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? money and a dog

What date(s) from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? 1/1 new years with stiner in chicago, 2/14 valentine's day with stiner and lynnie and lance on 6th street and then it snowed!, 5/28 amanda's 21st bday where i sang karaoke for the first time, 6/12 nancilea dove in the olympic trials and got 4th, 8/18 heather's 21st bday in new orleans we got free drinks from some italians and danced the night away, 10/9 ou vs. ut game...we lost but it was still a great game, 12/3 i found out my grandpa passed away right before i had to take one of my finals (also a week before my birthday)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? getting all A's?
9. What was your biggest failure? my lack of patience
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury? Nothing serious
11. What was the best thing you bought? whoops didn't have any money, probably the felcity season 1 dvds
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? amanda for graduating, my mom for making it through a tough year, and nancilea for getting 4th at the olympic trials

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? spent more time with my dad, stepmom, sister and stepdad; taken more summer classes, saved my money, gone to some shows in austin, gone to church, exercised
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? spend money i needed for bills

How will you be spending Christmas? i woke up at my dads, opened presents, watched a lot of dvds we all got, and had a yummy christmas dinner, then drove to moms and opened presents with that half of the fam, and then mike's gf came over and then chris came over for a while, which was the best part

23. What was your favorite TV show? wow hard to pick one...maybe the apprentice, also really loved lost, one tree hill, and everything on the food network
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? well i wont say hate but yes strongly dislike someone but i'm not saying who
25. What was the best book you read? no time for reading but i'm going to soon while im still on break...on wait actually i read number the stars for my children's lit class, great book!

27. What did you want and get? a cd player for my car, new friends
28. What did you want and not get? my family put back together, felicity season 2 & 3 dvds (but i'm about to purchase season 2)

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? i turned 22, i was a bum all day then went out to pappasitos with my friends for dinner, then most of us went to sixth street, i got free drinks and danced the night away (sounds similar to heather's birthday), oh yeah and then a few friends came back to my apt. and played truth or dare jenga
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? my family put back together
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? lazy bum most of the time, i'm only fashionable when going out
33. What kept you sane? prayer, friends, family, crying
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? justin timberlake and zooey deschanel
35. What political issue stirred you the most? i'm not going there
36. Who did you miss? stiner (it was hard going from living together to hardly seeing her)
37. Who was the best new person you met? anna, a girl i work with...she's become a really close friend, and caden- most precious baby, wish i saw him more
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: well i dont know if i'd call this a life lesson but i've learned something about myself... i live in my own world and avoid reality and the problems in my life... i need to work on that
