HELP!
i woke up this morning to my computer acting like it was busy doing something but i dont know why it was acting like that....so i turned the screen on to see what it was doing but then nothing showed up on the screen. so then i tried to turn my computer off but it wouldn't turn off...so i unplugged it and turned it back on but the same problem

Sounds like a virus to me. And that's the best I can tell you.

a) your video card is shot, hence nothing on the screen...or
b) a nasty virus of some kind.
if i were there i could take a look at it.
alas, my advice is to have somebody there take a peek. it might be an easy fix, like a new video card, or a simple re-installation of windows. you don't want to trash the computer just yet.
