Modern life instructs us in a 'clutching' mentality which is about holding on to and grabbing many things.

What's difficult is thinking all at once about all that you have to do and walking through the experience in your head of "doing it all at once". It's kind of like looking at a long journey and thinking, "Oh no, that's such a difficult journey - how can I ever do all of that?" You can't swallow your entire meal in one gulp.
Answer, of course, is that you set off anyway. And next time you stop to think about it, you can say to yourself "Oh my, there's still a long way to go, but it's not as long as it was - if I keep on doing what I just did, I'm bound to get there."
