Wow... I have for very similar reasons decided to pursue my masters in Art Therapy concentrating on trauma. I am awaiting my transcripts right now so I can start taking my baseline psych courses at NoVA here in the fall. The plan is Grad School in 2013 but who knows where this path will lead? I am excited to find out. I am really happy to hear that therapy has been so effective for you. I think putting myself in therapy a year and a half ago has been the best decision I ever made for myself. Making it a priority was the second best decision I made. I don't know you very well but I suspect you will be a very good therapist because you are going through the process of healing yourself. I believe that makes a world of difference. Plus...I believe your mental skills as an engineer may be unique experience you can bring to the clinical psych table and give you a unique perspective on things. You never know what tools you will use in this life and I find experience that tools we have honed intensely never go unused, they just may never be

Don't sweat the camping with B&C's thing, you're STILL amongst Skulls, and main camp will LITERALLY be around the corner. As to the career change. I have nothing but faith on your ability to do ANYTHING you set yourself to madam.
