This is seriously so perfect and cute! I loved it :) Your characterization is spot on, too.

AWWW. Thank you, bb! Although there will always be a touch (or a flood) or h/c or angst in my fictions, I think cute fluffy cuddling scenes are ridiculously funner to write-and definitely, the Doctor made it funnerer. And hooray for spot-on characterization! It's one thing I'm definitely always concerned about. :)

Okay, so this is not entirely going to be full of awesome words and prose about how amazing this is, simply because I'm sick and whenever I try to think of the right words, my head goes all cobwebbed and confused. BUT, I adore this. What Ever said down there, this really is so perfectly them- space hipsters in love.

And the man with the hammock- of course he would think bunk beds are cool. I can't imagine what his feelings are on water beds.

(He's forgotten how hard conversing can be with more than one human during non-emergency situations: humans always try to talk over one another and forget to wait for cues. Scrambling for a say, for a voice. It would be quite an alarming characteristic for a species if they weren't just so fantastic at it while still managing to get (some) things done.) I adore this little aside SO SO SO SO SO much because it's so very true, and the Doctor would definitely notice it. It's actually kind of hilarious, because Eleven in particular has picked up on that nasty little habit of interrupting people ( ... )

I cannot even begin to describe the amount of flailing that is happening with my arms right now.

Hmmm. Water beds. If I had to say RIGHT NOW what he feels, I think he would first ask you what type of water bed are you speaking of? Because there may only be so many ways a hammock or bunk bed to be made, but across ALL of space and time, there are SO many ways a water bed can be interpreted. Like, are we talking about the mattress balloon thing filled with water, or a small pool of water to lie in? Is it a bed that is literally meant to float (LIKE A BOAT), or something else entirely? And the answer is: HE WOULD LOVE THEM ALL. THEY ARE ALL COOL.

"Nasty habit of interrupting people." LMAO. I know two people who do this ALL THE FUCKING TIME and it's the most annoying shit on the planet... BUT LUCKILY FOR THE DOCTOR, HE'S NOT ON THIS PLANET VERY OFTEN. In my head, he also LOVES to brag about reminisce about past adventures if only to try to seduce Rory with being such an accomplished Renaissance ManHE WAS BORN HAPPY, THOUGH. I think the ( ... )

i super loved this. i particularly loved the bit about how they would play card games for him with hours if he wanted. now i just desperately want to see the three of them playing card games in the tardis. i mean, we've had darts, cards could be next, right?

Thank you!

Yeah! I love the idea of them just hanging out being bros, even if the three are romantic and technically, Amy and Rory are married. In the end, I love them because it's all about being awesome close friends (who occasionally Do It). AND YES, CARD GAMES FOR HOURS WOULD BE THE VERY ESSENCE OF THEIR BRO-DOM.

This is the most perfect Doctor POV, I'm speechless, he's perfectly done, perfectly Doctorly. And particularly Eleven. I can see touches of other Doctors in him and it's just, oh, oh. Wow.

And the way you write him as so very much in love with them, it just, it's melted me into a puddle. Gah.

Deary me, bring me my smelling salts!

Oh man. Half the time I'm only focused on getting a POV right, and half the time I'm worrying about the POV being wrong. Especially with this fiction, since the Doctor is such a complex character and I've not read many Eleven-era fictions. There was seriously a moment where I was going to delete a "brilliant" because it seemed too Ten. lol.

Ha! Even in canon, Eleven is obviously puddle-inducing in love with the Ponds, it's fabulous. I cannot keep myself away from the fluff!

But yeah, a comment like this just makes me ridiculously happy and swoony. Thanks so so much!
