On the way to the Starbucks where Cordy had said the weird happenings were goin down, so many thoughts were going throuh my head. How this was all happening and why? The whole Faith/Angel thing I 'overheard', an just everything. And now Tara not being able to talk? How come I have the strangest and scariest feeling that the First has something to ( Read more... )

"What's going on is two witches MIA. They're still in the bathroom with no signs of coming out." I said, falling to keep the annoyance out of my voice.

So I had changed since Sunnyhell, but still. I was a team player. I liked to know what the hell was going on. Even if I didn't know the girl that good.

She was obviously a member of the team and that meant we had to help her. But it was kinda impossible when no one let you know what was going on.

"But besides that, there's a coffee that Willow didn't touch." I said, a small shrug.

I smiled at her, looking back towards the bathroom door.

"Hmm..weird." I said, looking down at Willow's coffee that Cordy said she didn't touch.

"So, you said that Tara couldn't talk?" I asked, turning back to face her. I sat down at the table and took a sip of Willow's coffee. Hmm..not too bad. A little strong, but I needed it.

"Oh, she won't mind." I said when I saw Cordy looking at me drinking Willow's drink.

I shrugged, indifferent as Buffy took Willow's drink. It didn't bother me at all. Willow paid for it anyway, I thought, as a small smile formed on my face.

I picked up my drink and took a sip.

"Maybe she could, but she didn't say *anything* to me. Which, I'm pretty sure is unusual. Right?" I asked, perking a brow at her.

"Weird. I've never come across this before." I paused to think. "Well, just back with the Gentlemen, but that was different." I said, with a small smile to her.

"Well, I wouldn't say unusual. Tara doesn't usually talk all that much anyway. Unless she's around people she really knows and she feels comfortable." I replied.

"Am I the only one that thinks that this all has something to do with the First?" I asked, leaning in to ask her.
