You know , I had the same visceral type reaction to JC's whole plight and situation, and precisely how she grabbed it by the horns and just did it; and with a great sense of humour to boot!

There is a new food network channel coming 'The cooking channnel',. It promises to run random reruns of her old show as well as the Gallopping Gourmet. Not sure if you ever saw him alone or on her show but I remember thinking he was hilarious too.

I keep reading things about quitting your day job but one of the surprising things I've learned in this experience is that I don't mind my day job, most of the time. It's not that stressful, mostly, it's interesting, sometimes, and I work with lots of smart (if difficult) people. Oh, and they pay me to go.

It is so important to know this about yourself. At one point in time, I felt guilty because I wasn't pouring my whole self into my ceramics. Then, one day I realized that 1)I like my job; 2)I am well-paid to do my job; 3)I get paid holiday because of my job; 4)My healthcare is covered because of my job. There are so many reasons to keep it, and none to give it up!
