I've been spending a lot of time on Facebook lately. It sucks up hours of time and I don't even play the games! I don't regret joining. I've met some cool people and reconnected with old acquaintances. It's convenient, that's for sure. But, I gotta say I still love LJ ( Read more... )

I agree. There are things I like about Facebook (keeping up with friends, quick and dirty, re-connecting with old friends). There are things I hate (the games and apps). And there are things I need to remind myself (my board members and co-workers are reading it, which is why people kept mentioning about me being up at 3:00am, working).

I definitely like LJ better. But I'm much more anonymous here, with no board or staff reading (that I know of, hehe).

I'd love to friend you on Facebook, though. I have four or five of my LJ friends on my list there.

I enjoy the relative anonymity and the more relaxed atmosphere on LJ. And I don't have to worry about exceeding the character limit.
