I don't know when exactly I decided that the camp really wasn't that bad.  I think although I insited on complaining, after I had gotten through the first night I was ready to accept the harsh environment.  From that initial acceptance, I started to notice how incredible the camping life was.

Had a huge inflow of photos that were sent in by fellow volunteers, which kept me very occupied in sorting through them.  I'm sorry to those interested that I didn't update about the rest of the weeks.  There are plenty more pictures, which are all a lot more interesting, and I'll explain the rest of them too.

I got your letter that you sent to me whilst I was camping in Bahamas! Met up with friends from camp today, and one of them came back a week after I did, so she brought it back for me. Sorry about the delay in updates. Been terribly lazy in writing this up - but my, look, you've been rewarded with two updates on the first week in camp and the Bahamas, so I thoroughly applaud you if you get through all of it!

Upon reaching camp, the first thing we saw was the tents. These tents were army tents, with a basic strong standing, but mere flaps on either side, meaning a number of things always enjoyed entering the tents, from the crabs (which managed to get through every night) to even the ocassional snakes and scorpions.
