Tht was wonderful. The key as a metaphor for their ongoing love and understanding is absolutely beautiful. I choked up at the very. Outstanding fic!

The keys absolutely were metaphors, for how their loves changed, and who was calling the shots. Compassion to sex, sex to love, and mutual love at that--mirroring their lives.

I choked up is the sort of thing a writer always wants to hear. I'm thrilled that this spoke to you. Thanks for letting me know.
