OMG, meep, a year.... meep. I'm so glad you said there was schmoop ahead.

So long since I’ve touched Justin that I dream about him when I fall asleep at my desk every night. Poor Brian :-( But their fight sounded like them. How can two grown men be so stubborn?!?! GRRR and ARRGH

LOVED the ending. Nothing better than loyal Justin IMHO. And Brian is an asshole a lot of times, but he's Justin's asshole... or something, so it's all good.

Ok, off to the next part *still smooching you silly* ;)

Brian never thought he's be gone that long. Stubborn stupid silly....yes, two grown men acting like 5 year olds, and it started because of an easel. *thwaps them both*

But their fight sounded like them

That's music to my ears! Thank you!

he's Justin's asshole

Anatomically impossible, but I know exactly what you mean. Hee.

LOVED the ending. Nothing better than loyal Justin.

*smiling so hard my face aches*

Aww, I'm really enjoying this series! I've never read anything quite like it before. I love the idea of Justin being so successful, although I feel bad for Brian. :(

Also, my dork/business major side came out here . . .

Too many sunk costs, he advised. Better to keep it open and hope it turns a profit next year.

You mean fixed costs, right?

Nope. Sunk costs are one-time start up costs. Fixed costs are recurring (every year, repeating). You can never be too dorky with me.

I'm glad you're enjoying this.

Me either! ;)

Right, that's what I thought sunk costs were, but I've always been taught that sunk costs are to be ignored in making business decisions, because they cannot be recouped? Or have I got it turned around?

That's exactly what Ted was advocating in the story: the sunk costs are already gone and wouldn't be recouped by closing the Chicago branch. So Brian's reasoning was a touch faulty, and Ted was correcting him, saying that he *should* ignore those sunk costs because next year's profits might turn it all around.

OMG, Brian hasn't return Justin's emails and phone calls for nearly a year?!
Oh my poor suffering boys.

Yup, things are messed up. But don't worry. They get their happy ending, no matter what!

Yup. About par for the Kinney-Taylor course, though. Misunderstandings and hurt feelings are a house specialty.

LOVE THIS

*glows* Thanks.
