Thank you! I actually got the idea for this story about two years ago, after reading Nancy Brooke's story "Night in Hollin"; it's about dancing in Middle-Earth, but it didn't include Rohan, so I wanted to do something with that. (Then I set the story aside for about two years, but oh well, better late than never, right?)

Cress, this is wonderful!! It's one of the coolest stories about Faramir I've ever read, and I simply love it. I have to admit I had to keep my jaw from falling onto the keyboard and breaking it when I saw the story, though :-P Faramir is such a dear here, and so impressive! He manages to keep so many things in mind - songs, politics, dance, people...and he's also so inquisitive and attentive to detail. Oh, and I love love love Eowyn's confidence in him. *grin*

I still remember us talking about the story, and the different ideas you tossed then...and I really think there couldn't be a better one for me right now. I really can't thank you enough for it. *hugs* :)

My Christmas really was made a lot better with the help of this wonderful story. Thank you SO much for choosing this idea, especially since it turned out to be somewhat of a stress, as I heard! Ypu really made me happy with it...and I keep coming back and re-reading it again and again :)

Lovely!! I love Eomer's somewhat devious way of getting Faramir accepted by the Rohirrim. You portray him as more thoughtful than many, and I like it. :)

Thanks! I hope he doesn't seem too devious, since he didn't create the opportunity--he just grabbed it when he saw it. But I figure he must be fairly clever if he's going to be able to handle being king!
